Kyrgyzstan ranks third on gold mining in CIS
Kyrgyzstan has very high potential in mineral resources and one of its main resources is gold, a spokeswoman for the Kyrgyz jewelery factory "Altyn" Irina Kolesova said during the press conference, Trend news agency reported on Thursday, referring to KyrTAG agency.
According to Kolesova, Kyrgyzstan ranks third on gold mining in the CIS and 22 in the world.
She also mentioned that during the past few years, gold production in Kyrgyzstan has remained at 18-22 tons
