Tajik man killed by Moscow police during traffic stop

A Tajik citizen has been shot and killed by police in Moscow
after allegedly threatening officers with a knife, Radio Liberty
reported.
The Tajik Embassy in Moscow told Radio Liberty that the victim was
25-year-old Jumakhon Azizov, a Tajik citizen who died in a hospital
in Moscow's Odintsovo district.
According to police, two officers attempted to stop a car for a
routine document check.
The car made a rapid U-turn and sped off.
Police pulled the car over and attempted to arrest the five men in
the vehicle when Azizov allegedly pulled out a knife.
The four other men -- all Tajik citizens -- are in police
custody.
The Tajik Embassy said they heard about the incident through the
media instead of being informed by the Russian authorities.
