Turkish FM: Some Iranian officials make irresponsible statements

Some Iranian officials make irresponsible statements about Turkey, TRT Haber TV channel quotes Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as saying on Saturday, Trend news agency reported.
He said such statements about Ankara are unacceptable.
"Ankara knows that some Iranian officials' statements about Ankara regarding the Syrian crisis are not official position of the country," Davutoglu said.
Earlier, Chief of Iranian General Staff, Maj. Gen. Seyed Hassan Firouzabadi warned Turkey that "it will be its turn" if it continues to "help advance the warmongering policies of the United States in Syria."
He also said Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey are responsible for the blood being shed in Syria.
Anti-government protests have continued in Syria for more than a year and half. According to the UN, the total number of victims of the conflict in Syria is nearing 60,000. More than 230,000 have become refugees with around three million in need of humanitarian assistance. The Syrian authorities say they oppose the well-armed militants.
