Political tension in Kyrgyzstan over power and gas supply problems
The political situation in Kyrgyzstan has worsened in light of problems with domestic electricity and gas supplies, Azerbaijan's Trend news agency reported.
The country's Prime Minister Zhantoro Satybaldiyev is ready to apoligize to the country's population for this situation, local news agency KyrTAG said Wednesday.
Satybaldiyev warned that if the weather in the country remains as cold as it is now, the situation with energy supply may continue to worsen.
"We have to look for alternative heating sources," he added.
Several parliament members have even cited the need for raising the issue of the prime minister's resignation due to the problems.
