Turkish state telecommunications company Türk Telekom will be put up for privatization, Trend news agency reported referring to Anadolu agency on Monday.
It is expected that the privatization will be carried out during the first months of next year.
Turkey has recently pursued a policy of liberalization towards the country's domestic market. Several nuclear power plants, hydropower plants, and gas distribution networks were privatized. Privatization of two state banks is also on the agenda.
