Turkmenistan's new ambassador to Turkey named
President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov signed a decree appointing Ata Serdarov as Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey, an official Turkmen source said on Wednesday, Trend news agency reported.
By another decree Serdarov was dismissed as Turkmen Ambassador to Armenia.
Turkish companies implement more than 1,270 investment projects in Turkmenistan. They include more than 1200 projects worth more than $15 billion.
Ankara has expressed interest in the delivery of the Caspian energy resources to Europe through the Caspian Sea and Turkey.
Ashgabat involves Turkish companies in the construction of the Caspian Sea resort Avaza.
