Turkey issues protest to France
Turkey through its Ambassador in Paris Tahsin Burcuoglu has sent a protest note to the French Foreign Ministry over inclusion of a section on the so-called "Armenian genocide" in history textbooks, the Anadolu news agency reported on Wednesday.
In addition to the protest note, a letter stating that the materials contained in the books do not reflect reality will be sent to the French Education Ministry.
Earlier, some Turkish media outlets reported that the French Education Ministry included a section on the "Armenian genocide" in the textbooks.
