Former Yerevan mayor appointed Gazprombank vice president
Armenian capital Yerevan's former Mayor Karen Karapetyan has been appointed First Vice President of Gazprombank of Russia. ArmRusGazprom Company Press Service representative Shushan Sardaryan confirmed this information in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Gazprombank is among Russia's three leading banks, and, with its capital, it is the third largest bank in Central and Eastern Europe.
Karapetyan's appointment in such a powerful financial establishment could not have taken place without the knowledge of the highest echelons of Russian authorities.
