Putin says neither he nor Medvedev rules out running for presidency
MOSCOW – Russian PM Vladimir Putin has stated that neither he nor President Dmitry Medvedev rules out running for presidency in 2012, RIA Novosti reported.
"Neither me nor Dmitry Anatolyevich denies that each of us may ballot. We will proceed from the realities of situation to be established by the date of elections", Putin told reporters on Wednesday.
"Of course, this decision must be taken sooner or later. However, almost a year remains before the date of election, and this vanity does not favor normal organization of work", Putin said.
"If we produce certain wrong signals now half of the administration and more than a half of the government will stop working anticipating certain changes", the PM noted.
