Terror act prevented in Istanbul
ISTANBUL – A terrorist attack was prevented in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Friday morning, the newspaper Sabah reported.
According to the police, a member of PKK terrorist organization was planning an act of terrorism on Taksim Square in the city center. Roughly 23 kg of explosives were found. A criminal case was filed.
