Gunmen attack Azeri in Moscow
MOSCOW – An Azerbaijani citizen was heavily wounded by unknown gunmen in Moscow on Monday morning, Russia’s vesti.ru website said.
Three individuals had entered the store where the 28-year-old worked as a salesman at around 5 a.m. Following an argument, one of them opened fire at the man from a traumatic weapon seven times.
The Azerbaijani citizen was hospitalized with severe chest and shoulder injuries.
Attacks on people from the Caucasus intensified in the Russian capital in past days, after a Caucasian killed a fan of Spartak, a leading Russian soccer club.
