YEREVAN – The leaders and activists of Turkey’s opposition Nationalist Movement Party (NMP) intend to perform a prayer at a location on the border with Armenia on Friday.

The Namaz will take place at the Ani ruins in the Kars region, considered by the Armenians as "an ancient Armenian town", Turkish media reported.

Friday’s prayer is to be joined by the NMP leader Devlet Bahceli. Some 5,000 people from Kars and surrounding regions as well as Azerbaijan will take part in the prayer.
