Iran plans to increase direct flights to Qatar amid FIFA World Cup 2022

Iranian airline companies are planning to increase flights between Iran and Qatar for the FIFA World Cup 2022, the head of the Association of Iranian airlines Maghsoud Asadi Samani told Trend.
"Iranian companies will increase flights to Qatar based on potential increasing demands," he said.
He pointed out that the two countries civil aviation organizations signed an agreement for operation of extra direct flights.
Samani said that increasing the number of flights will be bilateral and Qatar Airways can increase its flights to Iran as much as Iranian airline companies.
According to the official, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Iran has planned to attract tourists during the World Cup games and has predicted significant rise of flights during this period.
