Turkish, Azerbaijani and Georgian military officials began joint exercises on pipeline security in Ankara on Monday, according to the website of Turkey`s Armed Forces.
The military exercises, conducted in the three countries annually on a rotating basis, are dubbed Eternity-2009. The parties are exploring opportunities for joint efforts by their militaries in the event regional pipelines come under threat.
