The Turkmen State Committee for Tourism presented the country's tourism industry at the exhibition “Ferien-Messe Wien 2019” in Vienna (Austria) on January 10-14, Tajik media reports.
The event is one of the largest international forums in Austria, reflecting the modern achievements of world tourism.
The event was attended by over 800 representatives of the tourism sector from 70 countries of the world. The venue of the exhibition was the largest pavilion Messe Wien.
The guests who visited the exhibition familiarized themselves with various exhibits of Turkmenistan, indicating the routes of the Great Silk Road, a description of historical monuments on the UNESCO list, exhibits and literature on the Turkmen people's culture.
Images of famous historical and cultural monuments and natural sites of interest were presented, including videos about the country and publications devoted to the tourism industry development.
Also, materials on the Avaza National Tourist Zone development attracted the visitors.
During the visit, representatives of the State Committee on January 9 organized a presentation of the achievements of the tourism industry in Turkmenistan.
Representatives of travel agencies from Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic took part in the event. A video about the achievements of the tourism sector of the country was presented, including the presentation of Turkmen travel agencies.
Ferien-Messe Wien 2019 is dedicated to outdoor activities, travel and a healthy lifestyle. The exhibition was visited by more than 150,000 people.
The Ferien-Messe 2019 exhibition is a popular place not only for hundreds of thousands of leisure and travel enthusiasts but also for thousands of professionals in the tourism sector.
The exhibition organizers are pleased to see at the Ferien-Messe 2019 exhibition people from all cities of the world who are interested in holidaymaking and entertainment.
The exhibition has been held annually since 1983 at the Messe Wein Vienna Exhibition Center.
The exhibition attracted more than 57,419 visitors from around the world in 2018. Over 825 exhibitors presented their products and developments, the stands of which were located on a total area of 30,265 square meters.
