Uzbekistan to present potential of its agri-food sector in Netherlands

On December 11, 2018, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg) together with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Netherlands will organize in the Almere city a seminar on the country's capabilities in the agri-food sector, UzDaily.uz reported.
The aim of the seminar is to inform the participants working in the agri-food sector about events and opportunities in Uzbekistan.
In addition, the seminar participants will be informed about the plans of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Netherlands regarding the sending of the Dutch agricultural trade mission to Tashkent in March 2019 and the organization of the Dutch pavilion at one of the agricultural fairs in the capital of Uzbekistan in June 2019.
The seminar will allow for establishing contacts with the leading manufacturers of the Netherlands - a country that is considered the locomotive in the production of meat and dairy products in the world, as well as to get acquainted with the innovative technologies applied in the processing of raw materials intended for the manufacture of food products.
