Turkish MFA: Turkey, Qatar to hold political consultations

Turkey and Qatar will hold political consultations on October 4 during the Qatari Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmed Hassan Al-Hamadi's visit to Turkey, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a message.
Al-Hamadi will meet with his Turkish counterpart Sedat Onal. A number of issues will be discussed during the meeting including the expected visit of the Qatari Emir to Turkey.
Qatar currently ranks 19th among countries that have made direct investments in Turkish economy.
Foreign investment in the Turkish economy amounts to $4.108 billion. Qatari investments in the Turkish economy reach $541 million.
About 68 percent of foreign direct investments in the Turkish economy comes from European countries. Spain ranks first among European countries that have made direct investments in the Turkish economy.
