One of the most striking exhibitions of the year – the 24-th Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF-2018) entitled as "Tourism on the Silk Road" has opened in Tashkent on October 3, which will run until October 5, Podrobno.uz reported.

The international and national pavilions have been accommodated in the capital's "Uzexpocentre", where the "Town of artisans" project, the stands of theaters and museums of the country's regions, the Festival of national dishes, "The Eastern Bazaar", "The Alley of artists", fashion shows from leading and emerging designers of Uzbekistan and much more have been housed within the exposition.

The TITF is held since 1995 with the official support of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Every year, the exhibition brings together professionals of tourism business from all over the world.

This year, the participants and guests of the event can communicate with representatives of various companies related to tourism from such countries as the Kingdom of Thailand, Egypt, Singapore, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, India, Korea, Turkey and Russia.

China takes part in this exhibition for the first time.

China's participation in the exhibition confirms that it becomes more recognizable to the world from year to year and systematically turns into a serious platform for the exchange of cultural, social and economic experience in the tourism sector, and China is becoming increasingly interested in Uzbekistan. It is also planned that the regional representative of China for Central Asia will make a presentation at the exhibition.
