Majority of foreign terrorists in Syria are US citizens – Turkish media

Majority of the foreign terrorists in Syria are US citizens, the Turkish media reported March 5, citing military sources.
There are more than 500 foreign terrorists from 40 countries in Syria’s Afrin, according to the report.
It is also reported that the majority of the US citizens who are taking part in the activity of the terrorist forces in Syria are former servicemen.
It was earlier reported that the number of foreign terrorists eliminated as part of the Operation Olive Branch exceeds 120 people.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
