Tashkent holding Global Entrepreneurship Week

Global Entrepreneurship Week kicked off in Uzbekistan on November 13.

The event is being held in the country for the first time.

This large-scale event, which takes place in different countries (for example, these days this is also taking place in neighboring Tajikistan), is meant to become a platform for direct exchange of experience of entrepreneurs from various countries.

More than 50 top managers, investors and entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, Tajikistan and other countries arrived in Tashkent to take part in the Global Entrepreneurship Week.

It is expected that in general, the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which will last until November 19, will be attended by about 5,000 people, including young entrepreneurs, successful businessmen, economists, managers of local companies. Along with Tashkent, the Global Entrepreneurship Week will also cover Samarkand and Fergana.

The main organizers of the event are the Association of International Business and Technology of Uzbekistan, the Youth Union and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.

Support of youth entrepreneurship, presentation of the best international practices and tools for business development are among the goals set by the organizers.

During the week, it is planned to develop proposals for business development in Uzbekistan.
