Nazarbayev talks modernization of the ruling party

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed the importance of modernization of the Nur Otan party, during the meeting of the political council of the party, the press service of the Kazakh president said in a message.
Nazarbayev stated that the party faces enormous challenges in current conditions of the developing world.
“The issue is related to the modernization of the Nur Otan itself, because the country is being modernized, as well as its economy and other sectors, and the political forces must also correspond to these changes,” Nazarbayev said.
Kazakh president stressed the contribution of Nur Otan party to stabilization of the situation in the country, its development and the improvement of the social status of the country’s population.
“The party has adequately passed through the parliamentary elections and has rightfully become the main political party of Kazakhstan. But we can’t stop. As you know, this year we started to modernize the economic, political and spiritual spheres of our society,” he said.
Nazarbayev emphasized the importance of concrete proposals for the further transformation of the party.
