Turkmenistan, OSCE mull joint projects

Ashgabat hosted discussions on projects to be implemented jointly by the Turkmen government and the local OSCE Center, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a message.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, including Peter Juel Jensen, Danish MP, head of the Danish delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit.
The current state and the present prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE, as well as the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, were mulled at the meeting.
The sides noted active cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and expressed mutual interest in its further expansion, reads the message.
Turkmenistan joined the OSCE on Jan. 30, 1992.
