Turkey's PM to visit Russia in December

Turkey’s Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will visit Russia in early December, the Turkish Yeni Safak newspaper reported on November 15.
During negotiations with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Yildirim will discuss further steps on normalization of relations between the two countries, according to the report.
The agenda of negotiations is expected to include the issues of using national currencies in the trade between Russia and Turkey, creation of free trade zones, development of tourism, as well as the fight against the “Islamic State” (aka IS, ISIL, ISIS or Daesh) terrorist group in Syria and Iraq.
The Turkish prime minister is also expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This is Binali Yildirim’s first visit to Russia after his appointment as prime minister in May 2016.
