Iran records rise in loading, unloading at its ports
The total amount of the products loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports increase by 13 percent over the last month compared to August 2015.
According to the latest statistics by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, in the mentioned period, 23.83 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded at 25 ports across the country.
The statistics also suggests that the volume of the non-oil products (loaded and unloaded) increased by two percent, while the figure for oil products hiked by 19 percent.
In the mentioned period, 18.584 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded at the country’s ports.
The figure for loading oil products in the mentioned period is 13.591 million tons.
According to the statistics, 1.687 million tons of oil products have been unloaded in the mentioned period.
Iran also unloaded 3.556 million tons of non-oil products at its ports over the one-month period.
