Uzbekistan ups entry fees for vehicles from Tajikistan

The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution stipulating increase of the fee rate for entry and transit of vehicles from Tajikistan since September 1, 2016.
Starting from September 1, 2016, trucks and buses coming from Tajikistan while crossing the state border of Uzbekistan will pay an additional fee of $180 for entry or transit through the territory of the republic, according to the document released on August 29 by the local media outlets.
Until recently, the additional fee for vehicles coming from Tajikistan was $118.
