Crude price on world markets
The price of oil have changed in different directions in the world markets.
On the New York Stock Exchange NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange) cost of the US Light crude oil increased 0.89 to stand at $33.95. Price of the Brent crude oil at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) rose $1.25 to trade at $36.80.
The price of a barrel of Azeri Light crude oil decreased $0.23 to stand at $36.99 on the world markets, SOCAR reported.
Azerbaijan produced 31.3 million tons of AZERI LT oil in 2015 versus 31.5 million tons in 2014, said BP’s report on operations in Azerbaijan in 2015.
BP is the operator of the Azerbaijani Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field, where AZERI LT oil is produced.
The daily average volume of produced AZERI LT oil was 634,000 barrels during the reporting period, said the report.
In 2014, Azerbaijan produced 31.5 million tons of AZERI LT oil versus 32.2 million tons in 2013.
