SOCAR repairs several facilities on offshore field
Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR has completed the overhaul of some flyovers on the Oil Rocks field in the Caspian Sea.
In particular, "Chvanov-203" flyover was overhauled, the company reported.
"The piles, concrete slabs and railings were renovated while overhauling a 1,036 meter flyover,” the statement said. “A 660-meter-flyover, connecting the oil and gas producing workshop No 1 with platforms No 1936 and No 810 was repaired. The corroded metal constructions were replaced.”
SOCAR includes Azneft (companies producing oil and gas on land and sea), Azerkimya (chemical industry) and Azerigas (gas distribution) production associations.
In addition, the state oil company has a number of processing and service enterprises, as well as institutions involved in geophysical and drilling activities.
