Azerbaijan cuts oil production
Azerbaijan produced 41.9 million metric tons of oil and gas
condensate in 2014 compared to 43.1 million metric tons of oil and
gas condensate in 2013, according to Azerbaijan’s State Statistics
Committee.
The main volumes of oil and gas accounted for the
Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of oil and gas fields and the Shah
Deniz gas and condensate field, which are developed jointly with
foreign partners.
The Committee said the production of marketable gas in Azerbaijan
in 2014 stood at 18.7 billion cubic meters against 17.9 billion
cubic meters of marketable gas produced in 2013.
