SOCAR completes construction of new offshore facility
Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR has completed the construction of a new platform at the Banka Darvina field in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea, SOCAR said.
The construction of the platform was carried out by the Oil and Gas Management trust upon the request of Absheronneft oil and gas production enterprise.
The new platform is envisaged for the drilling of eight operational wells. The commissioning of the platform is expected soon.
