SOCAR, TOTAL discuss coop prospects
Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR President, Rovnag
Abdullayev, has met Michael Borrell, Total`s Senior Vice President
for Continental Europe and Central Asia, and Christian Giudicelli,
General Manager of Total Azerbaijan, to discuss prospects for
developing the cooperation, AzerTac state news agency reported.
Borrell expressed confidence the year 2013 would be a success for
Azerbaijan`s oil and gas industry.
They focused on preparatory work for the second phase of production
at the Shah Deniz offshore gas field, export of Azerbaijan`s
natural gas, Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) project, as well
as preliminary issues on the operation of the Absheron oil
field.
