Socar-Foster Wheeler JV registered in Azerbaijan
The Socar-Foster Wheeler Muhendislik Xidmetleri (Engineering Services) company, a joint venture with participation of Azerbaijani state oil company Socar, has been registered in Azerbaijan.
Along with Socar, the joint venture was co-founded by Foster Wheeler Italiana, which is part of Foster Wheeler Global Engineering and Construction group. Its official representative is Maria Trivella Giampiero.
The capital stock of the company, which was registered on February 27, is 200,000 euros. Socar owns about 65 percent of the company’s shares.
The initiative on establishing the JV was put forward by Socar. The main purpose of its establishment is to train highly qualified personnel.
According to the standing agreements, employees to be hired by the new company will be trained at the office of Foster Wheeler Italiana in Milan.
