Azeri oil hits three-year high
BAKU – The price of Azerbaijani oil in world markets has hit a record high in the past 32 months.
Azeri Light crude rose $1.86 to $121.08 during sales at the London exchange as of March 31, the highest price recorded since August 21, 2008, according to Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR.
Azerbaijan produces most of its oil from the major Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields in the Caspian Sea. The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) main export pipeline is transporting ACG oil.
