Ukraine approves memo on Azeri gas supplies
KIEV – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Intergovernmental Memorandum with Azerbaijan on cooperation in natural gas delivery to Ukraine, the deputy of the Energy Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Chekh told journalists in Kiev Wednesday.
"The Memorandum was adopted. We admit that Azerbaijan has serious intentions to enter this market", he said.
According to him, the memorandum provides readiness of Azerbaijan to deliver to Ukraine up to 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year.
