Azerbaijan became second largest gas supplier of Turkey

By exporting 519 million cubic meters of gas to Turkey in September, Azerbaijan has become the country`s second largest gas supplier.
According to Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) report, 3.232 billion cubic meters of gas was transported via pipelines, 448 million cubic meters via LNG terminals.
Turkey imported 337.48 million cubic meters of natural gas from Azerbaijan in August of 2017.
With 2.1 billion cubic meters of gas exported, Russia remains Turkey`s largest gas supplier. Iran is the third largest with 518 million cubic meters.
Azerbaijan exported 4.74 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey in January-September of this year.
