600m barrels of oil transported via BTC
To date, 600 million barrels of oil have been
transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) main export
pipeline, the BTC company`s General Manager for Turkey, Can Suphi,
said. Suphi told reporters that the BTC pipeline was operating at
up to 80% of its capacity. He said appropriate measures were being
taken to bring the operating capacity of the conduit to 1.2 million
barrels.
