French president`s pilot robbed - report
One of French President Nicolas Sarkozy`s pilots has
been robbed in Baku, the local Yeni Musavat newspaper reported.
During the incident, Martin Daniel Henry, who works for East West Helicopter Inc. company, sustained an injury inflicted by a dull object as he was heading to his apartment, located on the Khagani Street.
Robbers stole his gold bracelet, money worth about 1,000 euros, a wrist-watch, a cellular phone and some clothing from Henry`s apartment. Presumably, the pilot had been hit on the head with a bottle, as pieces of broken glass have been found at the building entrance.
The Sabayil district police department has launched a criminal case.
