Fire injures seven, damages trade center
A powerful fire broke out at a major trade outlet in
Baku on Sunday morning, injuring several people and destroying a
vast area used by vendors. The blaze, which raged at the Sadarak
Trade Center in the Azizbayov district of the capital, destroyed
vendors` counters covering an area of 1,000 to 1,500 square
meters.
Two city residents and five employees of the Emergencies Ministry have been hospitalized with injuries, according to the Interior Ministry.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
