New Qatari envoy introduced to Azeri leader
President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the new
Qatari ambassador to Azerbaijan, Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad bin
Jassem Al-Thani. The diplomat assured the Azerbaijani president
that he would do his best to further strengthen bilateral
relations.
The head of state, for his part, pointed to the successful development of relations between the two countries and stressed the importance of mutual top-level visits. Aliyev said there were extensive opportunities for enhancing mutual ties and expressed hope that they would deepen further during the new ambassador`s diplomatic tenure.
