New head appointed to Azeryolservis
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree appointing Saleh Mammadov the chairman of the Azeryolservis Open Joint Stock Company.
President Aliyev signed another decree amending the “Decree on Measures to Improve Governance in the Road and Transport Complex of Azerbaijan.”
Under the new decree, the Azeryolservis has been withdrawn from the authority of the Ministry of Transport.
Azeryolservis OJSC was established in February 2007. The company is the successor of various enterprises which have been engaged in road maintenance in Azerbaijan since 1918.
The company is engaged in repair, maintenance, reconstruction and construction projects for public vehicular access roads, streets and avenues, bridges, tunnels, pedestrian passages and road hubs in the territory of the Republic, including Baku.
