Azerbaijani soldier dies from Armenian bullet

Azerbaijani soldier has fallen victim to another Armenian sabotage on the contact line of Armenian-Azerbaijani troops.
Soldier Elshan Ismayilov was killed during the diversion by Armenian armed forces on the contact line of troops on November 30, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry said.
The defense minister signed a decree conferring posthumous Medal "For Distinction in Military Service" 3rd degree upon the serviceman.
Reiterating that Armenia’s military-political leadership bears full responsibility for the renewed escalation on the line of contact, the ministry once again warned that this provocation will not be left unanswered and the retaliation will be crushing.
The situation on the contact line between Azerbaijan and Armenia has remained tense as the Armenian armed forces shattered ceasefire a total of 100 times throughout the day.
Earlier in the day, another Azerbaijani soldier got injury as a result of the Armenian sabotage.
Despite calls by the international community to abide by the ceasefire agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Yerevan ignores them aggravating situation even more.
Armenia and Azerbaijan fought a lengthy war that ended with the signing of a fragile ceasefire in 1994. More than 20,000 Azerbaijanis were killed and over 1 million were displaced as a result of the large-scale hostilities. Since the war, Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan's territory, including Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding regions. Armenia continues the occupation in defiance of four UN Security Council resolutions calling for immediate and unconditional withdrawal.
Peace talks brokered by mediators from Russia, France and the U.S. have produced no results so far.
