President Aliyev opens Baku White City boulevard

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva have attended the opening of the Baku White City Boulevard, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The president was informed that the length of the Baku White City Boulevard is 2.7 km, and it occupies a total area of 33 hectares.
A children’s cinema theatre will be built here. There are basketball, volleyball and two football pitches in the new boulevard. There is also an open-air gym, and a 2 km long bicycle track here.
The head of state met with local residents in the boulevard.
All infrastructure in the Baku White City boulevard meets modern standards.
The Baku White City project, developed by the order of the executive authorities of Baku, was designed to create a new and modern center in the capital city.
The Baku White City master plan envisages the creation of 10 universal urban districts with each of them to offer its residents the best living, working, recreation and entertainment conditions.
