No Azerbaijanis among Nepal quake victims
Hikmat Hajiyev, the spokesman for Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry,
said no Azerbaijani citizen was seriously injured in an earthquake
that hit Nepal.
According to preliminary information provided by the Azerbaijani
Embassy in India, which is also accredited in Kathmandu, there are
14 Azerbaijani citizens, including six children, in Nepal, he
said.
Hajiyev said one Azerbaijani child received minor injuries in the
earthquake, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The devastating earthquake in Nepal over the weekend has killed more than 3,000 and left tens of thousands homeless.
