30 October 2007 16:56 (UTC+04:00)

This statement was made in the Azerbaijan-Estonia business forum that started in Baku on Monday. About 70 Azerbaijani and 30 Estonian businessmen working in the fields of information technologies, finance and trade are attending the event. During the forum, the Estonian side expressed intention to purchase food products and steel from Azerbaijan as well as do business in the fields of tourism and hotel.
Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet said that all conditions existed in his country to do business and advised Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to take advantage of these conditions efficiently.
“Estonians came to Azerbaijan and began to be engaged in trade for the first time in 1910. We would like to invite Azerbaijani businessmen to Estonia, as there is a transparent business climate in our country as well as favorable tax and social payments,” he said.
The Estonian official said that some advantages were expected in this field by 2010, adding that it was possible to make success in any field of Estonia in case of mutual trust.*
