Domestic investments surpass foreign ones
Arif Aliyev told reporters on Monday said that in January-September domestic investments increased 57% to make up 1.917 billion manats ($2.255 billion), while foreign investments went down by 13%. Investments made by foreign countries and international organizations constituted 1.970 billion manats ($2.317 billion) this year, he said.
The Committee head also said that the major amount of foreign investments (44%) was made by Great Britain followed by the United States (21%) and Japan (12.4%).*
