Banker detained in Baku
An executive of an Azerbaijani bank has been arrested on charges of
misappropriation of funds.
Vidadi Khudiyev, the director of Zamin Bank OJSC`s central subsidiary, is accused of having embezzled 100,000 manats ($123,000). He was detained by officers of the Interior Ministry`s Main Department on Combating Organized Crime.
The Prosecutor General`s Office has instituted criminal proceedings against Khudiyev.
