Baku hosts CCTS Education Ministers’ meeting
The third meeting of the education ministers of Turkic Speaking
States Cooperation Council (CCTC) member states kicked off in Baku
on November 28.
Addressing the meeting, Azerbaijan’s Education Minister Mikayil
Cabbarov hailed the reforms carried out in this field, the
achievements, issues and the challenges ahead.
Fatma Abdullazade, head of Humanitarian Policy Department of
Azerbaijani President's Administration read out President Ilham
Aliyev’s letter of congratulation to the participants of the
meeting.
Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking
States Ramil Hasanov in his speech stressed the importance of the
event.
The meeting brought together Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz
Republic Kanat Sadıkov, chairman of the Turkish Higher Education
Council Yekta Smith, Minister of Education of Turkey Nabi Hunter,
executive secretary of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan
Aliya Qalimova and others, who exchanged views on the topic.
The meeting also discussed the current state of cooperation and the
main directions of development of relations in the field of
education and other issues of mutual interest among the member
states of CCTC.
