Azerbaijani and Moldovan Prosecutor General's Offices signed a document on expansion of cooperation during the international conference in Baku on "Fighting corruption: international standards and national experience" on June 30.

Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov and his Moldovan counterpart Corneliu Gurin signed the document.

Garalov said that there is a close cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Offices of the two countries, and the sides react quickly to mutual requests.

He went to note that the signed program will promote more close cooperation between the sides and will raise it to a new level.

Garalov said a great attention is paid to the protection of the rights of Azerbaijanis living in Moldova and Moldavians living in Azerbaijan.

Gurin in turn said Azerbaijanis living in Moldova are law-abiding citizens. He noted that bilateral cooperation between the countries is developing successfully.
