Azerbaijan’s Day of Armed Forces celebrated in Brussels

The 96th anniversary of the Azerbaijani army's creation - Day of Armed Forces was celebrated at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
Azerbaijan's delegation to NATO and Azerbaijani armed forces military mission at the NATO Military Committee has hosted an official reception on this occasion, the delegation told Trend news agency on June 20.
The NATO member and partner states' ambassadors, members of diplomatic corps, military officials, employees of the NATO International Secretariat, Military Committee and International Military Staff, the Head of the Permanent Observer Mission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to the EU, employees of the Azerbaijani embassy in Belgium and members of Azerbaijani Diaspora attended the event.
Materials on Azerbaijan were demonstrated during the reception, also the guests were able to taste Azerbaijani national cuisine.
Azerbaijan celebrates the Day of the Armed Forces on June 26. The Azerbaijani armed forces are highly disciplined, powerful and are equipped with modern military machinery, and always ready to defend the country and capable of resolving any problem.
The Azerbaijani army is professional and the most powerful army in the South Caucasus region. The skills and combat readiness of the Azerbaijani army are growing year on year. The army building process in Azerbaijan is progressing as well.
