Rules for improving energy efficiency at construction facilities approved
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approved new rules for
energy efficiency at construction facilities and saving of energy
resources.
The new rules cover the following parameters: buildings and
structures included in the list of cultural and historical
monuments and private residences and summer houses which are not
more than three storeys, as well as those facilities for
construction where permission is not required.
Construction of buildings and structures should be carried out in
accordance with the possibility of providing energy efficiency and
saving, according to the rules.
In the section on energy saving and efficiency, those project
documents provided cover the total energy characteristics of
designed buildings and structures, an energy performance
certificate of buildings and structures and the classification of
buildings and structures in terms of energy efficiency.
