President approves action plan on ‘Year of Industry’
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on March 12 to approve the Plan of Action as 2014 was declared the Year of Industry in the country, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The order specifies the Economy and Industry Ministry as a coordination body in organization of the execution of the Plan of Action.
Under the Order, the ministry shall team up with Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc), Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company and Azerbaijan Press Council to ensure media coverage of work carried out under the Year of Industry, and organize visits of journalists to industrial facilities.
